Privacy Policy

Effective October 13, 2026

Suave Label Cropper (suavelabelcropper.com), run by Anna Marie Bartolome (“we”), helps sellers crop shipping and product labels, create barcodes and check that printed codes scan. This policy explains what we collect and why. In short: your files and anything your camera sees never leave your device, and we only keep what we need to run your account.

Your files stay on your device

PDFs you open, the labels you crop, the barcodes you create and the camera video used by Scan & Check are processed inside your web browser. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else, and we can’t see them.

Camera (Scan & Check)

Scan & Check uses your device’s camera to test whether a printed barcode or QR code can be read. We don’t store anything your camera captures:

• Only when you turn it on. The camera starts only after you press “Start camera” and allow camera access in your browser. The microphone is never used.
• Read on your device, then discarded. Your browser looks at the live video a few times a second to find and read barcodes and QR codes. It doesn’t look for or identify faces or people. Each frame is used only in your device’s memory and is replaced by the next one.
• Never recorded, saved or uploaded. We don’t take photos, record video or audio, or save images, either on our servers or on your device. Nothing your camera captures is sent to us or to anyone else, and we can’t see it.
• The result stays on your screen. What a scan finds (the type of code, what it contains and how well it reads) is shown on your screen until you scan again or leave the page. It isn’t saved or sent to us, and scanning doesn’t count toward your plan. If you tap “Copy”, the code’s contents go to your device’s clipboard and nowhere else.
• The camera turns off when the check finishes, when you press “Stop camera”, after one minute if no code is read, and when you leave the page or lock your screen.

You can block or remove camera access for this site at any time in your browser’s settings. Everything except Scan & Check works without it.

Signing in

You can use the free tools without an account. When you sign in, you use your Google account; we never see or store a password. From Google we receive only:

• your name,
• your email address, and
• an account ID that identifies you to us.

We don’t get access to your email, contacts, files, calendar or anything else in that account.

What we keep, and why

• A sign-in cookie on your device that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It holds your name, email, account ID and a session number (which lets you sign out on all devices), and is signed so it can’t be altered.
• Your account: your name, email, account ID, which sign-in service you used, when you joined and last visited, your plan (and when it ends), your account status, and your role if you help run the site. If our team helps you with your account, we may also keep short support notes, and a record of changes we make to it (for example a plan change) and who made them.
• Your plan and label count: stored under your account ID, with your plan and, for each download or print, the date, the number of labels, and a fingerprint of the file and of the crop (a code calculated from them that can’t be turned back into the file). It lets us apply your plan’s limits and not count the same download twice. We never receive the file, its name or what is on the labels.
• Payments are handled by Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record, which collects your payment details, billing address and email to process your order. We never see or store your card number. With your order we send Paddle your account ID, so we know which account to upgrade. From Paddle we keep your Paddle customer and subscription IDs, your plan, whether it is active, and when it renews or ends.
• Settings in your browser, such as whether to download or print after cropping, are saved on your device only.

We use this information only to run the service: to sign you in, to apply your plan’s limits, to bill you if you subscribe, and to answer you when you contact us.

What we don’t do

• We don’t sell or rent your information.
• We don’t show ads or use advertising or tracking cookies.
• We don’t use your information to train AI models.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Service providers

The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes the network requests that reach the site (including IP addresses) to deliver it and protect it from abuse. Google (and any other sign-in service you choose) processes your sign-in under its own privacy policy. Paddle processes your order and payment as Merchant of Record under its own privacy policy; when you open the Plans page, prices and the checkout are loaded from Paddle, which then also receives your IP address.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep your account information while your account is open. You can sign out at any time. On your account page you can download the information we hold about you, and delete your account: this removes your account, plan and label history straight away and signs you out everywhere. We keep only your account ID (so old sign-ins stay ended) and a record that the account was deleted, and of earlier changes our team made to it. You can also ask us by email at support@suavelabelcropper.com; we will do so within 30 days, except for payment records we must keep by law.

Your rights

You can see the information we hold about you (download it from your account page), ask us to correct it, or delete it, yourself or by emailing us. Depending on where you live (for example California, or the EU/UK), you may have further rights under local law, and we will honor them.

Children

The service is meant for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell signed-in users before it takes effect.
