How to crop a USPS shipping label to 4×6
Updated October 14, 2026
To crop a USPS shipping label to 4×6, open the label PDF in Suave Label Cropper, keep Shipping labels (4×6) selected in Smart Crop, press Find labels, then Crop & Download. The Label Record receipt and instructions are left out, and USPS SCAN form pages are skipped.
Steps
- Save the label as a PDF. Get your label from USPS as a PDF: download the PDF, or press Print and choose Save as PDF as the printer.
- Sign in. Go to suavelabelcropper.com and sign in with Google. It’s free, with no password.
- Choose your PDF. Drop your PDF on the page or press Choose a PDF. In Smart Crop, keep Shipping labels (4×6) selected, and pick 4×6 in or 100×150 mm as the label size.
- Find the labels. Press Find labels. Every label in the PDF is found and shown. A label marked check needs a quick look: rotate it, remove it, or use its Adjust button to fix the box in Manual Crop.
- Crop. Press Crop & Download or Crop & Print. Each label becomes one 4×6 page of a single PDF, ready for your label printer.
USPS label PDFs it handles
Smart Crop is checked against label PDFs laid out like these:
- A Letter page with the label inside a dashed cut box and a Label Record receipt (USPS Click-N-Ship).
- A sideways label with an e-Label Record on the same page.
- A sideways page with the label and a receipt.
- SCAN forms and instruction pages in the same PDF. Pages like these are skipped.
If a label doesn’t crop the way you want, press Adjust manually and draw the box yourself in Manual Crop.
Good to know
- Your PDF opens in your browser and is never sent to a server or stored.
- Labels keep the quality of your PDF: pages are never turned into pictures, so text and barcodes stay sharp.
- The Free plan crops 300 labels a month. See plans and pricing →
- Printed it? Scan & Check on your phone tells you whether the barcode reads.
